With all the deforestation and climatic changes I feel it is important we all give nature a helping hand. Don't get me wrong, I am not going to dig up the drive or the patio. But in the garden my wife and I have organised planting of flowers that the pollinators such as bees love. It seems to me that they love those with purple flowers best. We have also purchased a bird bath from Birley Moor Garden Centre. It is surprising how many different species of bird visit the bird bath, some to bathe and some just for a drink. |
